We are seeking an experienced Website Quality Assurance professional to ensure the quality of websites and related applications through a combination of manual and automated testing. Responsibilities include identifying, documenting, and reporting bugs or usability issues to contribute to a seamless user experience. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of proven experience in both manual and automated Quality Assurance testing, along with strong analytical skills and a passion for quality. Your role will involve executing test cases, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring compliance with specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze system and website specifications
- Collaborate with Developers to design and execute effective testing strategies and plans
- Execute manual and automated test cases and analyze results
- Evaluate website code and functionality for compliance with specifications
- Maintain detailed logs of testing phases, including identified defects
- Document, track, and report bugs and errors to development teams
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues throughout the website lifecycle
- Conduct thorough post-release and post-implementation testing to ensure quality standards are met
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure quality is maintained across the website development lifecycle
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a QA Tester or in a similar role, with expertise in both manual and automated testing
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies and project management practices
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing practices (preferred)
- Proficiency in documenting and troubleshooting errors effectively
- Hands-on experience with test management tools (e.g., qTest, Zephyr) and basic SQL knowledge
- Ability to analyze and build an automation framework from scratch based on the existing codebase
- Familiarity with Postman and performance testing tools like JMeter or similar
- Experience with localization and responsive testing tools is a strong advantage
