About the Role
We are seeking a Wet Chemist / Wet Chem Technician to join our team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience and hands-on knowledge of wet chemical analysis, including the operation of AAS and ICP instruments. This role involves performing accurate and efficient wet chemical analyses, operating various laboratory instruments, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality control procedures.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform wet chemical analysis of samples accurately and efficiently, following approved testing methods and laboratory procedures.
- Operate laboratory instruments, including AAS, ICP, UV, LECO, and XRF, to support laboratory testing activities.
- Conduct routine equipment checks and report instrument faults or maintenance requirements to the supervisor.
- Follow quality control procedures, maintain accurate laboratory records, and report any non-conformities.
- Prepare, handle, and label laboratory solutions and standards correctly.
- Maintain laboratory cleanliness, ensure proper use of PPE, and comply with safety, hygiene, and QHSE requirements.
- Monitor laboratory supplies and report shortages or operational issues to the supervisor.
- Support daily laboratory operations to ensure timely, reliable, and accurate test results.
Qualifications
- A Chemistry-related qualification is preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant laboratory experience.
- Hands-on experience in wet chemical analysis.
- Practical experience with AAS and ICP is a priority.
- Experience with UV, LECO, and XRF is an advantage.
- Good understanding of laboratory procedures, quality control, and safety requirements.
- Good communication skills.
Compensation
- Monthly salary ranging from SAR 5000 to SAR 8000.
