We are looking for a Wet Chemist / Wet Chem Technician in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience and hands-on knowledge of wet chemical analysis, as well as proficiency in AAS and ICP instruments.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform wet chemical analysis of samples accurately and efficiently, following approved testing methods and laboratory procedures.
- Operate laboratory instruments, including AAS, ICP, UV, LECO and XRF, to support laboratory testing activities.
- Conduct routine equipment checks and report instrument faults or maintenance requirements to the supervisor.
- Follow quality control procedures, maintain accurate laboratory records and report any non-conformities.
- Prepare, handle and label laboratory solutions and standards correctly.
- Maintain laboratory cleanliness, ensure proper use of PPE and comply with safety, hygiene and QHSE requirements.
- Monitor laboratory supplies and report shortages or operational issues to the supervisor.
- Support daily laboratory operations to ensure timely, reliable and accurate test results.
Qualifications
- A Chemistry-related qualification is preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant laboratory experience.
- Hands-on experience in wet chemical analysis.
- Practical experience with AAS and ICP is a priority.
- Experience with UV, LECO and XRF is an advantage.
- Good understanding of laboratory procedures, quality control and safety requirements.
- Good communication skills.
Compensation
- Salary: SAR 5000 - SAR 8000 monthly
