As a Windows Virtualization ADFS Engineer at the company, you will take on the responsibility of designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise Windows Server platforms, including Active Directory, ADFS, Group Policy Objects (GPOs), DNS, and DHCP. Key responsibilities include leading disaster recovery (DR) failover/failback exercises for virtual workloads, implementing security baselines, managing vulnerability remediations, and ensuring system lifecycle compliance. You will lead root cause analysis for major incidents across Windows and virtual environments, mentor team members, oversee the integration of virtualization with storage and network overlays, and maintain comprehensive documentation.
Mandatory Skills:
- Advanced experience with Windows Server (2016/2019/2022), Active Directory, ADFS, GPO, DNS, and DHCP.
- Deep experience in Nutanix and VMware (vSphere, vCenter, SRM, RP4VM) or Hyper-V.
- Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Ansible, PowerCLI) and tools like SCCM/WSUS.
- Strong understanding of system hardening, ITSM, and compliance frameworks.
- Familiarity with hybrid environments.
- A bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of combined experience in Windows Server and virtualization engineering.
- VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or Microsoft equivalent certification, ITIL Foundation preferred.
