Windows Virtualization ADFS Engineer

The company is seeking a Windows Virtualization ADFS Engineer. The primary responsibilities include designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise Windows Server platforms (AD, ADFS, GPOs, DNS, DHCP) while leading VMware ESXi/vCenter (or Hyper-V) and Nutanix virtualization environments.

Key responsibilities involve:

• Driving automation for patching, provisioning, monitoring, and compliance checks using PowerShell, Ansible, SCCM/WSUS, and PowerCLI.
• Optimizing resource utilization through DRS/HA.
• Leading disaster recovery failover and failback exercises for virtual workloads and representing the Windows domain in DR tests.
• Implementing security baselines, managing vulnerability remediations, and ensuring system lifecycle compliance.
• Performing root cause analysis for major incidents and mentoring junior team members.
• Maintaining comprehensive documentation, including CMDB integrity and runbooks.

Mandatory Skills:

• Advanced experience with Windows Server (2016/2019/2022), Active Directory, ADFS, GPO, DNS, DHCP.
• Deep experience in Nutanix (Prism Central Administrator, AHV Cluster Build) and VMware (vSphere, vCenter, SRM, RP4VM) or Hyper-V.
• Proficient in scripting (PowerShell, Ansible, PowerCLI) and in using tools like SCCM/WSUS.
• Strong understanding of system hardening, ITSM, and compliance frameworks.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, or a related field, with 8+ years of combined experience in Windows Server and virtualization engineering.
• VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or Microsoft equivalent is preferred.
