The company is seeking a Windows Virtualization ADFS Engineer to design, implement, and maintain enterprise Windows Server platforms, including Active Directory (AD), Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS), Group Policy Objects (GPOs), DNS, and DHCP. Responsibilities:
- Drive automation for patching, provisioning, monitoring, and compliance checks using PowerShell, Ansible, SCCM/WSUS, and PowerCLI.
- Optimize resource utilization including Distributed Resource Scheduler (DRS) and High Availability (HA).
- Lead disaster recovery (DR) failover and failback exercises for virtual workloads and participate in DR tests.
- Implement security baselines and manage vulnerability remediations, ensuring compliance with standards like NDMO and NCA.
- Conduct root cause analysis for significant incidents and mentor L1/L2 team members.
- Oversee integration of virtualization with storage, network overlays, and backup solutions.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation, including CMDB integrity and VM lifecycle.
Mandatory Skills:
- Advanced experience with Windows Server (2016/2019/2022), Active Directory, ADFS, GPO, DNS, and DHCP.
- Deep experience with Nutanix and VMware (vSphere, vCenter, SRM, RP4VM) or Hyper-V.
- Highly proficient in scripting and automation tools.
- Strong understanding of system hardening, ITSM, and compliance frameworks.
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, or a related field, with a minimum of 8 years combined experience in Windows Server and virtualization engineering.
- VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or Microsoft equivalent, with ITIL Foundation preferred.
