Position

As a Windows/Virtualization/ADFS Engineer at DXC Technology, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise Windows Server platforms including Active Directory, ADFS, Group Policy Objects (GPOs), DNS, and DHCP. You will lead VMware ESXi/vCenter or Hyper-V virtualization environments, driving automation for patching, provisioning, monitoring, and compliance checks using tools like PowerShell, Ansible, SCCM/WSUS, and PowerCLI.

Key responsibilities include optimizing resource utilization, leading disaster recovery (DR) failover/failback exercises for virtual workloads, and implementing security baselines while managing vulnerability remediations. You will also oversee the integration of virtualization with storage, network overlays, and backup solutions, as well as maintain comprehensive documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Advanced experience with Windows Server (2016/2019/2022), Active Directory, ADFS, GPO, DNS, DHCP.
Deep experience in VMware (vSphere, vCenter, SRM, RP4VM) or Hyper-V, including virtual networking and storage mapping.
Highly proficient in scripting languages (PowerShell, Ansible, PowerCLI) and tools like SCCM/WSUS.
Strong understanding of system hardening, ITSM, and compliance frameworks (NDMO, NCA).
Familiarity with hybrid environments.
Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, or a related field.
8+ years of combined experience in Windows Server and virtualization engineering.
VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or Microsoft equivalent (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate), ITIL Foundation preferred.
