As a Windows/Virtualization/ADFS Engineer at DXC Technology, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise Windows Server platforms including Active Directory (AD), ADFS, Group Policy Objects (GPOs), DNS, and DHCP. You will lead VMware ESXi/vCenter or Hyper-V virtualization environments and drive automation efforts for patching, provisioning, monitoring, and compliance checks using tools such as PowerShell, Ansible, SCCM/WSUS, and PowerCLI.

Key responsibilities include optimizing resource utilization and leading disaster recovery (DR) failover/failback exercises for virtual workloads. You will ensure robust backup and recovery solutions, implement security baselines, manage vulnerability remediations, and maintain system lifecycle compliance. You will also oversee the integration of virtualization with storage, network overlays, and backup solutions, maintain comprehensive documentation, and mentor L1/L2 team members.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Advanced experience with Windows Server (2016/2019/2022), Active Directory, ADFS, GPO, DNS, DHCP.
- Deep experience in VMware (vSphere, vCenter, SRM, RP4VM) or Hyper-V, including virtual networking and storage mapping.
- Highly proficient in scripting (PowerShell, Ansible, PowerCLI) and using tools like SCCM/WSUS.
- Strong understanding of system hardening, IT Service Management (ITSM), and compliance frameworks.
- Familiarity with hybrid environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, or related field.
- 8+ years of combined experience in Windows Server and virtualization engineering.
- VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or Microsoft equivalent, ITIL Foundation preferred.
