This role ensures the stable, secure, and recoverable management of clinical and corporate workloads. The key responsibilities include executing engineering standards to ensure that clinical, administrative, and shared-services workloads run reliably. The engineer directly supports patient-care continuity by maintaining stable, secure, and recoverable clinical and corporate Windows workloads.

Location: Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates
Work Mode: On-site (Includes on-call, weekend, and overnight maintenance windows)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide L2 support for Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 across production & disaster recovery.
- Execute monthly patching, server builds, and business-as-usual (BAU) changes.
- Manage VM lifecycle on VMware / Hyper-V / Nutanix AHV.
- Monitor server health and respond to alerts within SLAs.
- Handle L2 tickets and escalate complex issues to L3/Senior Wintel.
- Perform backup/restore operations (using Veeam/Commvault/Rubrik).
- Maintain CMDB accuracy, runbooks, and operational documentation.
- Support disaster recovery drills, restore tests, and maintenance windows.
- Apply hardening baselines, antivirus/endpoint detection and response checks, and configuration compliance.
- Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 4–5 years of hands-on Wintel administration.
- Strong skills in Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, PowerShell, patching, and backup.
- Experience with VMware/Hyper-V/Nutanix in production environments.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (such as SCOM, SolarWinds, PRTG).
- Exposure to regulated environments (healthcare, banking, oil & gas).
- Comfortable with ITIL processes, SLAs, and weekend maintenance.
Certifications:
- Mandatory: Microsoft Windows Server Hybrid Administrator (AZ-800) or MCSA.
- Preferred: VMware VCP/VCTA, Azure Administrator (AZ-104), ITIL 4 Foundation, VMCE / ADHICS awareness.
