The company, a technology service provider and leading outsourced partner, is seeking a Wireless Network Engineer to take the lead on advanced Wi-Fi design, optimization, and enterprise deployments. This role requires a blend of deep RF expertise with strong routing and switching skills, alongside foundational knowledge of CURWB and SDA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive RF site surveys and optimization projects using Ekahau Pro.
  • Assess RF behavior, refine AP placement, and boost coverage, performance, and reliability.
  • Deliver end-to-end wireless design (HLD/LLD), architecture planning, and integration support.
  • Provide operational support for complex enterprise wireless rollouts and document best practices.
  • Lead or contribute to detailed network design, performance engineering, and troubleshooting efforts.
  • Configure, test, and cut over Cisco WLCs, APs, and wireless in SDA and non-SDA environments.
  • Support wireless integrations with Cisco ISE and Cisco DNA Center.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years in enterprise Wi-Fi engineering with strong RF design and troubleshooting skills.
  • Hands-on expertise with Cisco wireless (APs, WLCs, RF optimization, assurance).
  • Advanced proficiency with Ekahau Pro for RF surveys and reporting.
  • Working knowledge of CURWB and SDA wireless operations.
  • Solid grasp of L2/L3 networking concepts and their impact on wireless.
  • Practical experience with VLANs, STP, EtherChannel, routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP), DHCP, DNS, QoS, multicast fundamentals.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across end-to-end connectivity and performance issues.
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
