Wireless Network Engineer

Penta Consulting is a technology service provider and leading outsourced partner helping to deliver professional and managed solutions across EMEA. We are seeking a highly skilled Wireless Network Engineer to join our client in the UAE. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and optimizing advanced wireless solutions in enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead on-site technology design, deployment, and optimization sessions.
• Design wireless network infrastructures and conduct pre/post-deployment site surveys (heatmaps, predictive models).
• Configure and deploy Wireless LAN Controllers, Access Points, outdoor/industrial wireless solutions, and wireless management tools.
• Gather requirements to align technical solutions with business goals.
• Support security solution planning and optimization alongside wireless projects.
• Participate in pre-sales engagements and translate customer needs into solution designs.
• Develop and review design documents (HLDs, LLDs, implementation plans).
• Drive technology transitions and ensure deliverables align with customer outcomes.

Minimum Requirements:

• CCIE Wireless, CWNE, or equivalent knowledge.
• Strong background in networking protocols and wireless security.
• Proven experience with Cisco wireless infrastructure and tools.
• Hands-on expertise in wireless site surveys and tools (e.g., Ekahau, AirMagnet).
• Solid understanding of operational and soundness disciplines (availability, change management, etc.).
• Strong communication and client engagement skills.
• Python scripting and automation experience preferred.
