About the job

This is a full-time hybrid role working 1 day per week in our office for a PHP Wordpress Developer at one of our partner companies J3University.com, a leading education platform in fitness and bodybuilding. As a PHP Wordpress Developer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks associated with back-end and front-end web development, responsive web design, and API's. Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and maintaining custom plugins, solutions, and themes
• Integrating and managing APIs for our mobile applications and 3rd party systems, plugins, and payment gateways
• Collaborating with the design and product team to implement new features and functionalities
• Troubleshooting and resolving website issues & bugs

Qualifications:

• Extensive experience with API integration and custom plugin development
• Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Solid understanding of Wordpress architecture and best practices
• Experience with responsive web design and front-end development
• Knowledge of SEO best practices
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field
• Experience in the fitness or coaching industry is a plus
• Experience in React Native to help with our apps is a plus
