Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a workflow and informatics subject matter expert across clinical labs, connecting operational needs with platform capabilities (analytics + pre-/post-analytics + sample/data flow).
  • Partner with customers to assess current-state workflows and design future-state models using Lean and workflow engineering methods.
  • Lead lab assessment activities, including workflow mapping, operational bottlenecks analysis, and design grounded in Lean Six Sigma best practices.
  • Deliver workflow consulting outputs and recommendations, including laboratory process maps, layout documentation, and simulation-driven recommendations.
  • Create and deliver presentations to support selling and delivery for healthcare providers using tools like MS Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and AutoCAD.
  • Maintain a customer-facing best practices library for Automation/IT, including shareable rules libraries and automation metrics.
  • Provide consulting support for informatics solution products, focusing on LIS/IT integration and workflow enablement.
  • Collaborate with sales and service teams to develop project plans and manage execution including tasks, risks, and dependencies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Laboratory Sciences, Informatics, Biomedical, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the IVD industry; consultancy and solution selling experience is preferred.
  • 1–2 years of LIS consulting, technical support, or process management experience.
  • Familiarity with healthcare integration standards (ASTM, HL7, etc.) and clinical lab environments.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, consult, and drive resolution with strong communication skills.
  • Solid technical foundation in Microsoft Windows, SQL, networking, and security concepts.
