About the Role
This position involves recommending and implementing repairs for various types of industrial and rotating equipment, including but not limited to compressors and turbines. The role requires a strong ability to document, erect, alter, install, align, repair, replace, disassemble, and reassemble rotating equipment. The successful candidate will utilize proper tooling and processes to ensure work is completed safely and in a timely manner to meet customer needs. The position also includes planning and overseeing repairs with limited supervision and assisting in training other employees in departmental functions and processes.

Responsibilities:
- Promote safety and quality at all times.

- Conduct oneself in a professional manner with internal and external customers.
- Read and comprehend drawings, sketches, work scopes, and verbal instructions.
- Utilize appropriate equipment, tooling, drawings, work scopes, procedures, specifications, and documentation to perform primary functions.
- Alter and overhaul various components such as rotors, turbines, disc and blade holders, shafts, sleeves, gears, couplings, and other equipment as required.
- Set up all necessary equipment to complete jobs.
- Demonstrate advanced knowledge and accuracy in using measuring devices including micrometers, indicators, calipers, gauges, and other essential tools.
- Accurately measure and record critical clearances and dimensions on turbines, compressors, and additional equipment.
- Pass the annual dimensional inspection test.
- Understand and process documentation related to turbo machinery including inspection reports, photo logs, and hold tags.
- Have advanced knowledge of lifting, rigging, crane, and forklift operations.
- Assist in training other hourly employees in repair processes and procedures.
- Maintain continuity among shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and ongoing needs.
- Accept ownership of work performance while staying updated on job knowledge and skill development.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 5-8 years of experience with rotating turbo machinery.
- Advanced rigging capabilities.
- Advanced measuring capabilities.
- Experience with turbines, compressors, and other rotating equipment.
Base Location & Work Schedule
This is a full-time permanent position based in Dammam (Saudi Arabia).
