Yacht Accountant

About the Role
This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial control and planning behind yacht operations within a Dubai-based group focused on ultra-luxury real estate development. The maritime division requires rigorous financial oversight and clear reporting, necessitating collaboration across operational teams for effective day-to-day management. As a Yacht Accountant, you will be instrumental in ensuring accuracy, visibility, and informed decision-making in yacht-related operations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records for yacht operating, maintenance, and crew expenses.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, and timely vendor payments.
• Coordinate with yacht management teams to support financial and operational planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
• At least five years of accounting experience in yacht or luxury asset accounting.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with experience using Zoho and Microsoft 365.
• Strong knowledge of maritime financial practices, tax regulations, and reporting requirements.
