Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise fabrication activities in the yard.
- Coordinate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of objectives and schedules.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulations in the fabrication yard.
- Monitor project progress and prepare reports detailing status and any issues encountered.
- Identify and implement improvements in fabrication processes to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Conduct quality control checks on fabricated products to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Train and mentor junior staff and workers in fabrication techniques and safety practices.
- Maintain accurate documentation related to fabrication operations, including material usage and labor hours.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a fabrication yard or similar environment.
- Strong understanding of fabrication processes and materials.
- Familiarity with safety standards and regulations applicable to fabrication activities.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Proficiency in relevant software applications for project management and reporting.
