The Zerto and Data Protection Sales Specialist role is designed as a ‘Hybrid’ position with the expectation of working on average 2 days per week from an office in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Sales Specialists & Consultants are product, services, software, or solution specialists responsible for leading pursuits in assigned focus areas. This role involves collaborating with and supporting Account Managers, driving campaigns to build the pipeline, and using specialized knowledge to prospect, qualify, negotiate, and close opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for sales of storage products and solutions in assigned territory, industry, or accounts.
  • Uses advanced storage expertise to seek out new opportunities by expanding and enhancing existing opportunities.
  • Creates and drives the storage sales pipeline and captures leads outside of specialization for assignment and follow-up by others.
  • Collaborates with account pursuit teams to leverage solutions expertise for business development.
  • Assesses solution feasibility from both technical and business perspectives to determine qualification status.
  • Negotiates and drives profitable deals to ensure successful closure and maintain a high win rate.
  • Builds a professional relationship with clients, achieving an advanced understanding of their unique business needs.
  • Leverages knowledge of competitors and industry trends to strategically position the company's products and services.
  • Cultivates positive relationships with customers to ensure account retention and growth.

Education and Experience:

  • University or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Typically 6-10+ years of sales experience.
  • Experience in storage sales, typically 2-3+ years, with extensive vertical industry knowledge.
  • Project management experience required.

  • Possesses expertise to assess solution feasibility.
  • Demonstrates a hunter mentality in pursuing solution opportunities.
  • Uses digital and modern methods for effective selling.
  • Motivates and supports peer sales team members to ensure effective selling.
