As a Technology Strategy Cloud Advisory Consultant located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, you will play a pivotal role in guiding clients through their cloud-enabled enterprise transformation agendas. In this role, you will define cloud technology roadmaps and industry-specific solutions while driving the creation of business value through the innovation of cloud technologies. You will develop and recommend target dispositions for client landscapes and advise on the impact of cloud technologies on IT operating models. You will have the opportunity to lead small engagements or streams of work, ensuring high client satisfaction and effective team management.
Collaboration is key; you will work alongside clients, ecosystem partners, and internal teams to align business and technology priorities. Your insights will be instrumental in shaping thought leadership and assets that provide actionable recommendations related to clients' cloud journeys.
Key Responsibilities
- Define cloud technology roadmaps and solutions specific to client industries.
- Build value cases and leverage cloud innovation for business growth.
- Develop service portfolio requirements, considering market and service provider dynamics.
- Offer advisory on the impact of cloud on IT operating models.
- Lead small engagements end-to-end, managing client satisfaction and financials.
- Identify business opportunities and support business development efforts.
- Collaborate on thought leadership and provide guidance on cloud strategies.
- Engage with senior management to drive recommendations and gain buy-in.
Key Skills
- Strong consulting background with a focus on business and technology value realization.
- Ability to work independently and determine methods on assignments.
- Experience in cloud topics including planning, design, and implementation.
- Proven ability in cloud advisory or transformation.
- Cross-industry experience, preferably in Banking, Telecommunications, Oil & Gas, or Government.
- Proactive approach to acquiring business knowledge beyond technical skills.
- Cloud certifications from platforms like Azure, AWS, GCP, Alibaba, or Oracle.
- Fluent in Arabic and English.
Qualifications
- 3-7 years of work experience, with a minimum of 3 years in cloud advisory or transformation.
- Proven consulting experience or relevant positions in technology services or industry focused on cloud transformation.
