About the Job
Acuative Middle East is seeking a Senior Security Consultant to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10-15 years of hands-on experience in network security, complemented by multiple advanced and foundational security certifications. The role involves leading the security team and enhancing their performance by planning and delivering innovative security solutions. Responsibilities include assessing business strategies and security requirements, designing and developing security systems, conducting system security assessments, preparing detailed system security reports, and maintaining regular communication with senior management regarding security priorities. The consultant will also design and implement security architecture solutions, identify and address security gaps, and review new security technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and enhance the security team's performance by delivering innovative security solutions.
  • Assess organization’s security needs and conduct system security assessments.
  • Design and develop security systems, evaluating various network and security technologies including LAN, WAN, VPNs, routers, and firewalls.
  • Implement public key infrastructures (PKIs) with certification authorities (CAs) and digital signatures.
  • Prepare detailed system security reports that highlight security trends and insights.
  • Communicate potential risks and priorities to senior management.
  • Design security architecture solutions that balance business and cybersecurity needs.
  • Maintain clear communication with upper management regarding security priorities.

Skills Required:

  • Network Security:

    • Expertise in managing multi-vendor firewall solutions (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco).
    • Experience with StealthWatch and Forcepoint for web filtering.
    • Proficient in McAfee IPS, Arbor, and Cisco IPS.
    • Hands-on experience with F5 technologies (WAF, GTM, APM, LTM).
  • Endpoint Security:

    • Managing Symantec solutions (AV policy, Whitelisting ATM, Disk Encryption, SEPM).
    • Experience with Vasco MFA, Mobile Iron (MDM), and TrendMicro Sandboxing.
  • Security Planning and System Design:

    • Evaluating network security technologies and designing PKI and digital certificates.
  • Security Testing and Evaluation:

    • Developing test scripts for security system verification and identifying security gaps.
  • Team Management and Leadership:

    • Planning security solutions and enhancing team performance.
  • Security Infrastructure and Strategy:

    • Aligning security strategy with business objectives and reviewing new technologies.
