About the Job:
Acuative Middle East is seeking a Senior Security Consultant to provide expert-level security consulting services, focusing on the telco domain. The role involves performing comprehensive risk assessments and delivering strategic recommendations to enhance security postures for customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct risk-based security reviews of internal systems, applications, and third-party integrations.
  • Communicate security findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Deliver balanced, cost-effective recommendations for control implementations based on risk assessment findings.
  • Negotiate and gain acceptance of remediation plans with customers.
  • Define and prioritize consulting and project requirements based on customer demand and market trends.
  • Develop and deliver security strategies for 4G, 5G, cloud security, and emerging technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to position and deliver security consultancy services.
  • Create and deliver technical presentations and participate in industry conferences and workshops.
  • Stay updated on industry standards such as NIST, IEC, ISO, and SOC.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or Systems Engineering (Graduate degree preferred; an MBA is an asset).
  • Experience:
    • 7+ years of expertise in security and relevant industry certifications (CISSP, CISA, CEH).
    • 7+ years in critical industries (e.g., telecommunications), including consulting or professional services experience.

Technical Skills and Knowledge:

  • Deep expertise in 4G security, 5G security, and major cloud platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of security technologies, including access management, encryption, and vulnerability management.
  • Familiarity with security frameworks and standards, including NIST, IEC, ISO, and SOC.

Soft Skills:

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in conflict management, negotiation, and stakeholder influence.
  • Strong consulting skills to build trust and provide effective solutions for clients.
  • High energy and adaptability in a dynamic environment.

Language Requirements:

  • Proficiency in English is required; additional language skills are advantageous.
