Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Security Operations Engineer to manage our network security infrastructure. The role requires maintaining a stable and secure network environment, being accountable for its performance and security both during and outside of regular working hours.

Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (On-site)

Work Conditions: Full-time, On-site; 24/7 operational support required including on-call coverage for security-related incidents and issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage network security infrastructure ensuring stability and availability 24/7.
  • Provide on-call coverage for security-related incidents.
  • Plan, schedule, and execute system upgrades according to patch management processes.
  • Maintain and monitor installed certificates in F5, proactively communicating expiries to stakeholders.
  • Oversee security client coverage across all workstations and servers, taking proactive actions to ensure comprehensive protection.
  • Enhance processes for firewall policies and conduct periodic clean-up exercises.
  • Enable and deploy Two-Factor Authentication on systems and applications.
  • Coordinate with vendors to maintain network stability.
  • Mentor junior engineers on new technologies and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Validate technical design documentation for complex network changes.
  • Address security incidents as part of incident and configuration management.
  • Collaborate with teams to resolve complex technical issues related to collaboration and voice systems.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations through the implementation of security policies.
  • Conduct vulnerability remediation and develop operational documentation.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation for critical incident support.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Telecom/Computer Engineering or equivalent.
  • Certifications: ITIL, CCIE SEC, PCNSE, NSE-7, F5-401 or equivalent.
  • 10 to 12+ years of experience in an enterprise environment.
  • Strong hands-on experience with various security appliances and multi-vendor networks.
  • Proficient in IP networking fundamentals and VPN protocols (IPSec, GRE, SSL, Remote Access).
  • Experience with ISE/NAC administration and AAA/TACACS/RADIUS technologies.
  • Proficiency in scripting/programming languages such as Python, Perl, or Shell for automation.
