The ideal candidate for this position will have a broad technical skillset and extensive experience in the software development industry. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing products to meet the company's needs and collaborating with other developers to determine product strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Lead planning for development deliveries, considering tasks and their interdependencies across various components of the Healthcare Core System & Portals.
- Provide estimates for development tasks and ensure the reusability of newly developed code.
- Ensure developments meet Architecture and Information Security best practices.
- Train team members upon request from the GIG Team Lead.
- Update the status of development tasks in JIRA in a timely manner.
- Utilize logic and technical skills to complete programming tasks, developing programs from specifications, and implementing tests.
- Compile and write documentation to describe program development and revisions.
- Analyze, design, and test new or existing systems, ensuring the execution of Unit and Automated Testing.
- Follow specified guidelines and system standards in writing, testing, and documenting code.
- Research and identify program problems, developing solutions.
Qualifications:
- Backend Development: .Net Core, .Net WebAPI, C#
- Front-End Development: Angular, jQuery, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and responsive application design.
- Database Expertise: SQL Server
- Application Design: Knowledge of SOLID principles and software engineering design patterns.
- Proficient in English communication skills (spoken and written).
- Experience in developing web applications using at least one popular web framework.
- Excellent understanding of architecture/design patterns, Object-Oriented Design methodologies, SOA, and data modeling techniques.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years in Software Development.
- Degree or thorough experience in Computer Science.
- Familiarity with business and technical knowledge relevant to .Net development, particularly in Insurance.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work within a team.
- Capable of working to deadlines and taking pride in delivering excellent work.
Language Requirements:
- Good English skills (spoken and written).
