About the Job Description:
AWS MENAT AGS Organisation is looking for a Specialised Solution Architect with an emphasis on media delivery - origination services, CDN, DRM and player technologies. The successful individual will work with our customers and prospects designing and delivering hybrid and cloud-based video solutions using the AWS Elemental portfolio of Media Services (AWS Elemental MediaLive, MediaConvert, MediaConnect, MediaStore, MediaTailor and IVS - Interactive Video Service) In this role, your creativity will link technology to tangible solutions, with the opportunity to define or invent cloud-native reference architectures for a variety of use cases Specialist Solutions Architects are thought leaders in AWS technology and industry trends. As such, you will participate in the creation and sharing of best practices, technical content and new reference architectures (e.g. white papers, code samples, blog posts) for video technology. You will evangelize and educate about AWS Elemental video technology and AWS Media Services (e.g., through workshops, user groups, meetups, public speaking, online videos or conferences). Key Job Responsibilities:
- Building next-generation architectures requires both a depth and breadth of understanding of the technical, operational and business challenges each Media & Entertainment (M&E) customer is facing. You will build technical relationships with customers of all sizes and operate as their trusted advisor, ensuring they get the most out of the cloud at every stage of their journey by making recommendations to accelerate their challenging, mission-critical projects. Internally, you will be the voice of the customer, sharing their needs and wants to inform the roadmap of features for the media service's portfolio.

Basic Qualifications:
- 4+ years of design/implementation/operations/consulting with distributed applications experience
- Experience with cloud-based services (S3, EC2, Cloudfront, etc.) or AWS SA certification strongly preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Experience working with Broadcast or OTT workflows
- Experience with ad tech methodologies (e.g. header bidding, SSAI, VAST) and technologies (ad servers such as Google Ad Manager, Freewheel, etc.)
- Experience with video compression and packaging systems, especially H.264, HEVC, HLS, MPEG DASH, and CMAF
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries
- Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud
- Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective
