We are seeking a Specialist Solutions Architect with deep expertise in game backend frameworks, game servers, and networking. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the technical architectures that power multiplayer and live-service games, including backend infrastructure, server orchestration, and networking protocols. Your experience navigating these systems will enable you to provide strategic technical guidance to customers and partners, ensuring successful deployment and operation of game technologies on AWS.
As a Solutions Architect, you will own the technical relationship with AWS GameTech customers, providing expert guidance on security, cost optimisation, performance, reliability, and operational efficiency. By working backwards from business needs, you’ll offer strategic advice to help them unlock business value through technology.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the broader Industry Specialist team to shape the strategic plan and drive cloud adoption for GameTech customers.
- Design and deliver innovative technical solutions to engage and inspire customers and partners.
- Build technical credibility and trust during sales cycles, engaging directly with CTOs, CIOs, Chief Architects, and Senior Developers across the Gaming industry.
- Work with AWS service teams and partners to deploy, pilot, and scale game-focused solutions.
- Lead customer briefings, represent AWS Game Tech at industry events, and advance thought leadership in gaming technology solutions.
- Educate customers on the benefits of AWS through in-depth architectural discussions.
- Deliver training sessions to share knowledge with customers exploring or already using AWS.
- Capture and share best practices within the AWS Solutions Architect community to foster continuous learning and improvement.
