Position

The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Data Center Operations Security Team is seeking a highly talented and motivated Physical Security Program Manager (SPM) to join our team. At Amazon, we are working to be the most customer-centric company. To get there, we need exceptionally talented, bright, and driven people.

The SPM is responsible for the design, installation, and integration of security systems equipment, including Access Control, Intrusion Detection, and CCTV Surveillance systems. The ideal candidate will be willing and able to work across all related disciplines, from technology research to system design, oversight of construction, and implementation, as well as maintenance and upgrades. You will need an in-depth knowledge of security technology, be innovative, highly organized, and demonstrate the ability to deliver results on time and within budget.

The SPM will supervise compliance with physical security standards, manage Physical Security Projects, and be a Subject Matter Expert in all facets of Physical Security. Success will be measured by the development, implementation, and commissioning of standardized security infrastructure systems for the AWS region, focusing on key areas like customer service, access control effectiveness, and data protection.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of program or project management experience
  • 3+ years of experience working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams
  • 3+ years of experience defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics
  • Bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience driving end-to-end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership
  • 3+ years of experience driving process improvements
  • Experience in stakeholder management across multiple organizational levels
