As a Technical Account Manager for our partners in the EMEA region, based in Dubai, UAE, you will serve as a trusted advisor, playing a direct role in helping our Partners maximize value from cloud technology. This position requires you to craft and execute strategies aimed at driving Partner adoption and use of AWS services, which include a diverse range of products such as EC2, S3, DynamoDB, and RDS databases.

You'll engage with various companies, from innovative startups to prominent enterprises, offering insights on architecture, project planning, and handling ongoing operational issues. This role offers significant opportunities for developing technical, consulting, and leadership skills in collaboration with skilled cloud technologists. Additionally, you'll receive mentorship and will have the chance to earn AWS certifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build solutions, provide technical guidance, and advocate for the customer
  • Ensure AWS environments remain operationally healthy while reducing cost and complexity
  • Develop trusting relationships with customers, understanding their business needs and technical challenges
  • Drive technical discussions regarding incidents, trade-offs, and risk management
  • Consult with a range of partners from developers to C-suite executives
  • Collaborate with AWS Solutions Architects, Business Developers, Professional Services Consultants, and Sales Account Managers
  • Proactively find opportunities for customers to gain additional value from AWS
  • Provide detailed reviews of service disruptions and assist with planning

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience with operational parameters and troubleshooting for compute, storage, networking, databases, or applications development in a distributed systems environment
  • Experience in technical engineering
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Bilingual in Russian and German

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with AWS services or other cloud offerings
  • Experience in a technical lead role in internal enterprise or external customer-facing environments.
