As a Technical Account Manager, you will have a direct impact in helping our On-Ramp customers utilize cloud technology effectively. Your role involves crafting and executing strategies to drive customer adoption and use of AWS services, including EC2, S3, DynamoDB, and many more.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build solutions and provide technical guidance while advocating for the customer.
  • Ensure AWS environments remain operationally healthy while reducing costs and complexity.
  • Develop trusting relationships with customers to understand their business needs and technical challenges.
  • Drive technical discussions on incidents, trade-offs, and risk management.
  • Consult with partners ranging from developers to C-suite executives.
  • Collaborate with AWS Solutions Architects, Business Developers, and Sales Account Managers.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for customers to gain additional value from AWS.
  • Provide detailed reviews of service disruptions, metrics, and pre-launch planning.
  • Solve various problems as customers migrate workloads to the cloud.
  • Uplift customer capabilities through workshops and training sessions.

As AWS continues to expand in EMEA, you will have opportunities to develop your technical, consulting, and leadership skills. You will work with talented cloud technologists while gaining insights into AWS products and pursuing AWS certifications.

Basic Qualifications

  • 2+ years of technical engineering experience
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience with operational parameters and troubleshooting in areas such as compute, storage, networking, CDN, databases, DevOps, big data and analytics, or application development in a distributed systems environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with scripting languages and coding skills in Ruby, C/C++/C#, Node.JS, Java, Python, or PHP
  • Experience presenting business and technical aspects in customer-facing roles
