Position

As an IT Technician, you will report to the IT Manager at your home site. You will work closely with the business, colleagues, and remote support teams to implement and maintain infrastructure elements, representing the ‘face of IT’ to the business. You will be part of a multinational diverse team, delivering high-quality results and seeking continuous improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all IT equipment and infrastructure function optimally, meeting departmental KPIs and SLAs at your assigned site and remote locations.
  • Maintain ownership and accountability for health and safety standards.
  • Handle the installation, maintenance, and support of IT equipment.
  • Manage asset and inventory, liaising with third-party vendors and suppliers for efficient asset management.
  • Proactively improve IT equipment availability through preventative maintenance.
  • Provide technical support for projects and conduct end user equipment trials.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience in a corporate setting providing support for Windows, Mac, or Linux Operating systems.
  • Experience troubleshooting integrated computer systems.
  • Familiarity with maintaining zebra thermal printers, thin clients, PCs, scanners, and portable handheld terminals.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, Cisco/CCNA, Linux (Redhat), Microsoft hardware installation, AWS or industry-relevant certifications.
  • Experience in a dynamic environment with a high degree of customer service.

Work Conditions:

  • Full-time position with shift work and occasional changes in working hours.

Language Requirements:

  • Proficiency in English is preferred, with additional language skills being a plus.
