Role Summary
The Head of Engineering will oversee all technical aspects within the company, ensuring the successful delivery of technology projects while leading and mentoring the engineering team. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record in managing engineering teams and projects. A deep understanding of full-stack development and AI system design and architecture is essential.
Key Responsibilities

Leadership and Management:
- Lead and mentor the engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement engineering strategies aligned with company goals.
- Oversee recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of engineering staff.

Technical Oversight:
- Provide technical guidance and expertise across all engineering projects.
- Ensure engineering practices meet high standards of quality and efficiency.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and integrate relevant advancements into the technological roadmap, including full-stack and AI system design.

Project Management:
- Manage the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.

Innovation and Development:
- Drive innovation within the engineering team, identifying opportunities for technological advancements.
- Lead the development and implementation of new engineering tools and systems.
Qualifications

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in engineering roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership position.

Technical Skills:
- Strong expertise in software development and engineering best practices.
- Extensive knowledge of full-stack development (NextJS, React) and AI system design (OpenAI GPT-4, AI orchestration tools).

Cloud Infrastructure:
- Experience with Azure AI and cloud security, ensuring high availability and multi-tenancy.

Data Processing and Integration:
- Proficient in data orchestration and integration tools and techniques.

Leadership Skills:
- Excellent leadership and team management capabilities with strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Industry Knowledge:
- Experience in public relations, media, or digital marketing is highly desirable, alongside an understanding of the technological challenges within the PR sector.
