About the job:
The Cloud Engineering & Delivery Lead will be overseeing the implementation and ongoing management of customer onboarding and provisioning of the cloud through a partner network. The role will supervise a team of Service Delivery, techno-functional specialists who manage the partner network to ensure timely and effective onboarding and provisioning for customers. The role should also ensure that the partner network adheres to effective resource utilization and secure deployment standards and guidelines. Additionally, the role will oversee the ongoing technical delivery and assurance of enhancements and/or additional solution implementations that are project managed by the Transformation & VRO office.
Responsibilities:
- Cloud Deployment & Provisioning Delivery Cloud Infrastructure Implementation: Oversee the implementation and deployment of cloud infrastructure, through the identified partner network. Establish best practices, security standards and compliance requirements and drive adherence to the same.
- Cloud Provisioning Automation: Drive the automation of provisioning workflows to ensure efficient and consistent deployments and enable speed to market.
- Cloud deployment Automation: Spearhead the creation of automation scripts to enable seamless and continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) of cloud-based solutions
- Technical Leadership and Mentoring: Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior Service Delivery techno-functional specialists. Share best practices, provide guidance, and contribute to the professional development of the team.
- Partner Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with partners, acting as a trusted advisor. Provide technical guidance and monitor partner performance to enable optimal cloud provisioning, deployment and resource utilization for customers.
- Technology Implementation Delivery Technical Integration Strategy: Develop the technical integration strategy for identified cloud solutions, aligning it with the organization's goals and objectives.
- Integration Requirements Definition: Oversee the definition of technical integration requirements and enable identification of integration patterns and technologies. Ensure alignment with business needs and technical feasibility.
- Security and Compliance: Collaborate with security and compliance teams to ensure the security and compliance of integrated cloud solutions. Oversee the implementation of security measures, such as encryption and access controls, to protect data during integration processes.
- Cloud Solution Connectivity: Oversee the design of connectivity solutions to enable seamless communication and data exchange between cloud solutions. This includes API integration, data synchronization, and event-driven architectures.
- Interoperability and Compatibility: Ensure compatibility and interoperability between different cloud solutions and services. Define and enforce technical standards and best practices for integration to maintain a cohesive and scalable cloud environment.
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Al least 10 years of experience in cloud engineering, cloud solution integration, infrastructure provisioning, or related roles with 4 to 5 years of experience with leading teams that work on infrastructure-as-code tools, deployment automation, and troubleshooting provisioning issues is highly desirable. Experience in working with multiple cloud platforms (such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and implementing cloud solutions for clients is highly desirable.
