About the Job
The IT Administration & Infrastructure Director provides strategic and tactical direction concerning the infrastructure of Aramco Digital (AD), including Systems, Server hardware, Software, Data Center, Network, Storage, and Database technologies. This role encompasses the management and monitoring of computer networks and computing environments to ensure performance aligns with AD business requirements. Responsibilities include overseeing the configuration and performance monitoring of IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability and continuity of services.
Responsibilities:

Network & Internet Management:
Ensure reliable and secure network connectivity, monitor performance and troubleshoot issues, configure network settings for optimal performance, and implement security measures.

MS 365 Management:
Lead the management and security of MS 365 and Windows Defender, manage configurations, provide user support, and implement security measures.

Active Directory Management:
Manage user accounts and access controls, configure and maintain domain controllers, support user account-related issues, and ensure proper access controls to protect sensitive data.

IT Infrastructure Configuration Management:
Maintain information about configuration items (CIs) for IT service management, document CIs, perform status accounting, and conduct configuration audits.

IT Infrastructure Performance Monitoring & Logging:
Track system performance metrics, monitor IT infrastructure components, manage logs, and set up alerts for critical events.

IT Infrastructure Continuity and Disaster Recovery:
Maintain service levels for business continuity, design high availability strategies, develop disaster recovery plans, and test recovery measures.

IT Infrastructure Monitoring:
Guide the team in implementing monitoring tools and methodologies, track key performance metrics, and ensure adherence to security controls and compliance frameworks to minimize risks.

Network Performance Monitoring:
Define monitoring mechanisms for network devices and assess performance metrics, utilize monitoring tools, and implement proactive alerting mechanisms for potential issues or threats.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science with substantial coursework in Systems Management and Software Programming.
- At least 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure and networking across different roles, with 4-5 years of leading IT infrastructure management in a mid to large-sized organization.
