As a Principal Solution Consultant, you will leverage your expertise in seismic interpretation to deliver technical demonstrations, knowledge transfer, and specialized support for customers utilizing AspenTech SSE solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pre-Sales Expertise and Collaboration: Lead pre-sales activities for AspenTech SSE’s G&G Seismic Interpretation domain, providing comprehensive technical support to the sales team.
  • Sales and Contract Renewals: Support sales in all aspects of PCS contract renewals and account growth, contributing technical insights to secure renewals.
  • Opportunity Identification: Proactively identify opportunities for increased customer engagement and enhancements in software utilization.
  • Pipeline Growth: Conduct technical update sessions to drive sales pipeline growth and facilitate the adoption of solutions.
  • Client Support: Provide solutions for complex seismic interpretation challenges to clients both locally and internationally.
  • Building Relationships: Cultivate influential relationships with key customer stakeholders, serving as a trusted partner and technical expert.
  • Technical Knowledge Transfer: Deliver engaging knowledge transfer and technical demonstrations to customers.
  • Customer Onboarding: Develop best practices for onboarding customers to maximize the value of AspenTech SSE’s seismic interpretation solutions.

What You'll Need:

  • Educational Background: M.Tech, M.Sc., or higher qualification in Geophysics, Geology, or a related Geoscience field.
  • Experience and Technical Skills: 8-12 years in seismic data interpretation with familiarity in seismic interpretation tools like SeisEarth, QSI, and Explorer.
  • Sales Collaboration: Proven experience in pre-sales support and technical documentation preparation.
  • Communication Skills: Proficiency in English, with strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Experience in Customer Engagement: Demonstrated expertise in preparing proposals and making recommendations to clients.
  • Technical Training Experience: Solid understanding of current geoscience software and previous experience leading training programs.

Language Requirements: Proficiency in English is required.
