We are looking for a Senior PowerBI Developer who is interested in in-depth training that elevates Business Intelligence skills using modern data mining, visualization, and modeling techniques to provide customers with strategic insights. As a Senior PowerBI Specialist in the Analytics Experience role family, you will contribute to the design and implementation of complex BI and reporting platforms, focusing on scalability and efficiency in both Cloud and On-Premise contexts. You will work with the latest Microsoft technologies to meet client requests and stay updated.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement data models ensuring high performance.
- Create dashboards and reports using PowerBI and other visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik) to provide data insights.
- Outline governance approaches and implementation strategies for PowerBI in large organizations.
- Generate ad hoc reports and data sets for end users.
Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in implementing data visualization/dashboards/reporting solutions, including PowerBI (DAX), PowerBI Paginated reports, SSAS, and SSRS.
- Expertise with at least one major Cloud provider (Azure/AWS/GCP) and knowledge of service models (PaaS, SaaS, IaaS), big data architectures, and ETL processes.
- Familiarity with logical design patterns/best practices for data warehouse solutions and relational stores such as MS SQL.
- Data modeling skills (3NF, Star schema, Snowflake, Data Vault).
