About the Job
Avrioc Technologies is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing advanced security solutions to protect critical systems and sensitive data. Your expertise in Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Privileged Access Management (PAM), Database Activity Monitoring (DAM), and threat modeling will be crucial in ensuring the security and integrity of our information systems.

Responsibilities & Authorities:

  • Design, implement, and manage SIEM, PAM, and DAM solutions.
  • Extensive experience in Wazuh SIEM implementation, configuration, and maintenance, particularly with distributed cluster deployments featuring High Availability (HA).
  • Utilize the Wazuh Stack (Wazuh Manager, Indexer, Dashboards) for real-time threat detection and monitoring.
  • Administer and optimize PAM solutions for securing and monitoring privileged accounts.
  • Implement and manage advanced security technologies including XDR, DLP, and malware detection.
  • Monitor and analyze Database Activity Monitoring (DAM) systems, focusing on logging and alerting potential threats.
  • Assist in developing and implementing incident response plans and participate in security incident investigations and forensics.
  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and mitigate security risks.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • A minimum of 8+ years of experience as a Cybersecurity Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Proficient in establishing security practices related to SIEM, PAM, DAM, threat modeling, application security, and infrastructure security.
  • Relevant certifications in technologies related to the role are preferred.

Additional Skills & Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of DevSecOps practices, Patch Management, and API Security.
  • Experience with vulnerability remediation in dependencies and container environments.
  • Familiarity with OWASP Testing Guide and the OWASP Top 10 security risks.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with various teams and stakeholders.
  • Understanding of security frameworks like NIST and CIS, and compliance requirements such as SOC2, ISO, PCI-DSS, and GDPR.
