Position

BAE Systems is the UK Government’s entrusted Prime Contractor, providing equipment, support, and training to Saudi Arabia. The organization is dedicated to maintaining Royal Saudi Air Force aircraft and safely training RSAF personnel in the operational use of their aircraft, equipment, and weapons. The Technical Manager for Electronic Warfare will oversee the Tornado Electronic Warfare Support (TEWS) in the Electronic Warfare Center (EWC). This role involves managing the provision of EWC services in accordance with service level agreements (SLAs), incident escalation, and liaising with various stakeholders, including the RSAF Operation & Maintenance Directorate and UK and local industry partners. The Technical Manager will also provide engineering support for software and hardware updates related to EWC projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage TEWS within the EWC and ensure service adherence.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to support SLAs.
  • Lead the data migration activities related to TEWS and LTEWP projects.
  • Maintain and update the Data Migration Plan and Report.
  • Ensure safety and compliance with engineering standards.

Qualifications:

  • Educated to Honours degree level and working towards Chartered Engineer status.
  • Significant aerospace systems and logistic support experience throughout the lifecycle.
  • Minimum of five years’ experience in a Military Engineering/Support environment, ideally with the RSAF or RSNF.
  • Proven knowledge in Supply Chain Management, Engineering Life Cycle Management, and Project Management.
  • Full understanding of Export Control Requirements.
