ServiceNow Architect

About the Job
Blockwork IT is seeking a talented ServiceNow Architect to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a critical part in leading the design and development of custom applications built using the ServiceNow App Engine, ensuring these solutions meet the specific needs and business goals of our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients and business analysts to understand requirements and translate them into a well-defined technical architecture for custom ServiceNow applications.
• Design and architect custom ServiceNow applications leveraging the capabilities of the ServiceNow App Engine.
• Ensure application design aligns with ServiceNow best practices, scalability, security, and performance considerations.
• Develop detailed technical specifications, including data models, workflows, and user interfaces.
• Lead and mentor ServiceNow Developers in implementing applications using the App Engine.
• Collaborate with integration specialists to integrate the custom application with other systems and APIs as needed.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Document application architecture, design decisions, and configurations for future reference.
• Stay current on the latest ServiceNow features, functionalities, and advancements in the App Engine.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Architect or in a similar role.
• Proven experience in designing and architecting complex ServiceNow applications.
• In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow architecture, modules, workflows, and security practices.
• Expertise in the ServiceNow App Engine, including its capabilities and limitations.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and design patterns.
• Experience integrating ServiceNow with other systems using APIs (a plus).
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
