This team is based within our Cars vertical in a group together with a second team also focused on RegTech. You will collaborate intensively with teams across Manchester, Amsterdam, and London. Within Trips, The Regulatory Technology Group (“RegTech”) Is Here To Ensure We Stay Ahead And Above Any Compliance Requirement We Need To Face Into, To Ensure The Optimum Experience For Our Customers And Partners. This Group’s Focus Is Two-fold Facilitate the Trips Business Unit in meeting our RegTech requirements Implement RegTech requirements for Cars While this group is based in Cars, the responsibility and coordination stretch to all verticals, including Rides, Flights, and Attractions. .
What We Expect From This Role
As a PM in RegTech, you report directly to the Trips Lead across RegTech. You will work closely with PM’s across Trip as well as PMs within your group. As a PM, you will be required to assist in progressing all regulatory streams that are affecting Trips, while also honing in on the specific requirements that your team is building products for.

Responsibilities

  • Working with the team to translate goals and ideas into development requirements that will drive a positive impact for our customers, colleagues, or partners
  • Owning the discovery process to flesh out new legal asks, condensing down high-level obscure requirements into tickets for the team to pick up.
  • Owning the ideation, post-mortem, prioritization, backlog, customer feedback loop processes.
  • Coordinating and instructing teams outside your own to ensure legal requirements are implemented across the team
  • Keeping an overview of all incoming and ongoing legal requirements from Trips, balancing priorities and timelines. Guiding new features, systems, and services from inception to launch while keeping both customers at the center of everything.
  • Measuring and reporting the team’s progress and impact to the business in a transparent and effective way. This includes defining key business and services success metrics, tracking them, and improving upon them.
  • Using data to inform team priorities and decision-making.
  • Being the advocate for the team’s customers and stakeholders and keeping track of customers, stakeholders, and the wider business up-to-date with team progress.

Requirements For The Role

  • At least 4+ years of experience as a Product Manager
  • Excellent communication skills, with an ability to explain difficult concepts in simple terms
  • Domain experience in e-commerce is preferred
  • A proven track record of an ability to push through and get things done
  • Experience working with user-facing products and APIs
  • Proven experience of working effectively with and communicating to a diverse set of stakeholders
  • Understand what an exceptional user experience entails
  • Be commercially aware and have a strategic mind
  • Have excellent communication skills and be able to communicate with the business at all levels
  • Be a highly motivated self-starter with a flexible, can-do attitude
  • Team player with a bottom-up ideation process
  • An analytical orientation and strong problem-solving skills
  • Able to understand and formulate meaningful business metrics
  • Fluent in the English language both spoken and written
