About the Job
As an Implementation Specialist in a Client Focused role within BCG's Operations Practice Area, you will work in a growing global team, delivering value to clients through individual expertise and institutional knowledge assets (products, tools, data, workshops, frameworks, surveys, domain-specific data, etc.). You will contribute to cases and proposals by providing relevant analysis and insights and help case teams create a strong impact for the client. Additionally, you will support business development and marketing efforts of operations implementation programs as opportunities arise, contributing research and analysis to enhance these efforts.

In this role, you will participate in client cases, workshops, and proposals, with expected travel to serve clients onsite during staffing assignments to understand client requirements and develop solutions. The Operations Practice Area aims to assist clients in creating competitive advantages by enhancing performance and building strategic capabilities. The Operations Knowledge Team consists of experienced consultants who address specific cases related to various functions and disciplines within the practice, such as Manufacturing & Supply Chain, Procurement, and Sustainable Operations.

As a focused Implementation Specialist on large implementation programs, you will work across various topics and can deepen your expertise in specific areas as you advance in your career. You will support commercialization efforts for implementation programs in collaboration with business leaders through various activities, such as:

  • Supporting the ramp-up of engineering and production systems in line with environmental and local development goals.
  • Analyzing and optimizing end-to-end operations processes and workflows.
  • Implementing lean and sustainable manufacturing principles, process standardization, and continuous improvement methodologies in collaboration with client counterparts.
  • Monitoring process performance metrics and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Analyzing procurement processes to identify efficiency and cost-saving opportunities and implementing new procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Monitoring procurement metrics for continuous improvement and risk management.

You Bring

  • A Master’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a relevant field, plus a minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience (e.g., engineering, manufacturing, supply chain management, procurement), or a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with at least 2 years of experience in a large corporate setting.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English.
  • Strong business acumen, analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A foundational understanding of industrial processes and methodologies, such as lean and Six Sigma.

As a member of the Client Focus Knowledge Team, you will engage directly with clients, collaborating with BCG Project Leaders, Associates, and Consultants. Between projects, you will work with global topic leads and colleagues across BCG to leverage expertise and capabilities for our internal and external clients. The Knowledge Team is a robust group of functional and industry experts leveraging deep domain knowledge to provide insights for case teams and clients.
