Position

As a GCP Data Engineer at Expleo Group, you will be responsible for utilizing various data skills and tools to ensure effective data management and processing. The main responsibilities include:

  • Writing code, primarily in Python, for data tasks on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Familiarity with Scala or Java is a plus.
  • Writing and understanding complex database queries, specifically for BigQuery, GCP's data warehouse.
  • Cleaning and organizing data from different sources and ensuring it is accurately placed where necessary.
  • Structuring data within the data lake and related systems.
  • Implementing methods to verify the accuracy and reliability of data.
  • Gaining hands-on experience with essential GCP Data Lake Tools, such as:
    • Cloud Storage (GCS)
    • BigQuery
    • Cloud Dataflow
    • Cloud Dataproc
    • Pub/Sub
    • Cloud Functions & Cloud Run
    • DataPlex
    • Looker
  • Working with data through various methods, including batch processing and stream processing, as well as managing different data formats and workflow tools.
