Brixio Overview
Brixio is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mid-Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for ensuring the overall quality of our entire system, focusing on both manual and automated testing. As part of a dynamic team, you will play a key role in validating the performance, scalability, and reliability of all system components across multiple platforms. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for the entire system, covering web, mobile, and kiosk applications.
- Collaborate closely with development, product, and operations teams to understand system requirements and define comprehensive test plans.
- Conduct thorough system-wide testing, including API testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing.
- Utilize Katalon Studio with Cucumber and Cypress to develop automated test scripts, enhancing test efficiency and coverage.
- Perform load and performance testing to ensure system scalability and reliability.
- Document and track software defects, working closely with developers to ensure timely issue resolution.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve the quality of both test and production code.
- Contribute to continuous process improvements to increase testing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies, tools, and practices in software testing.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on both manual and automated testing.
- Hands-on experience with Katalon Studio, Cucumber, and Cypress for automation testing.
- Strong understanding of API testing and tools like Postman, JMeter, or similar.
- Proficient in test management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Experience with performance and load testing, preferably using JMeter.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to new challenges quickly.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex issues to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in testing within the driving license application domain or a similar regulatory environment.
- Knowledge of mobile application testing (Android/iOS).
- Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
- ISTQB certification or equivalent is a plus.
- Good experience in SQL queries.
