Data Analyst - Workplace Service - Information System

ByteDance is seeking a Data Analyst for the Workplace Service - Information System team. This role involves responsibilities related to the planning and construction of internal systems catering to various corporate functions such as human resources, workplace services, finance, legal affairs, and procurement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up business indicator systems for the Corporate Services team (e.g., Real Estate, Physical Security & Administration), analyze long-term trends, and address short-term anomalies while providing insightful reports.
• Build dashboards based on indicator systems, creating a daily tracker and monitoring system to promptly identify trends or potential blockers.
• Conduct data analyses based on business needs, using qualitative and quantitative methods to identify internal problems or uncover opportunities.
• Maintain effective communication with internal stakeholders (Business Operation team, Data Warehouse team, Product team, R&D, and Algorithm) to ensure the implementation and optimization of data analysis reports.
• Develop user-friendly data systems and products to support business operations.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• At least three years of relevant experience in data analysis.
• Proficient in SQL and visualization tools such as Tableau or PowerBI.
• Strong data mining, information collection, and analytical skills, with the ability to translate business problems into data models.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis and algorithms (e.g., machine learning, causal inference).
• Experience in data analysis within internet or technology-related sectors.
• Strong learning ability and effective communication skills.
• Capacity to lead small project teams to support business needs.
