As a member of the Policy and Program Management team, you will be responsible for developing and overseeing fire safety strategies, policies, and programs. This includes designing comprehensive documentation systems, conducting audits, creating employee training programs, and developing effective communication strategies for daily operations and emergency situations. The team will serve as the backbone of our fire safety initiatives, ensuring consistency and excellence in our approach to fire safety globally.
Responsibilities
- Strategy and Policy Development: Develop and implement fire safety strategies and policies that align with the company's overall safety objectives.
- System Design: Design and maintain comprehensive documentation systems, including fire safety manuals, audit checklists, and compliance records.
- Audits and Inspections: Oversee the planning and execution of regular fire safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
- Training Programs: Create and manage employee training programs to enhance fire safety awareness and knowledge across all levels of the organization.
- Communication Strategies: Develop and implement communication strategies for daily operations and emergency situations, ensuring clear and effective dissemination of information.
- Continuous Improvement: Continuously assess and enhance fire safety practices, staying informed about industry best practices and technological advancements.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- At least 4 years of experience in relevant fields, including strategy, operations management, and consulting, with a minimum of 1 year in a leadership role.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Preferred qualifications:
- Quick learner with strong structured thinking and strategic planning skills.
- Experience in designing training programs and communication strategies is preferred.
