The Information System team at ByteDance is dedicated to the planning and construction of various internal systems, including human resources, finance, legal affairs, and procurement. Our mission is to enhance efficiency while reducing costs through innovative product creation. We focus on building a comprehensive global procurement system and an efficient travel service platform for ByteDancers. By integrating industry-leading practices with artificial intelligence technologies, we aim to make a significant impact within the company.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for quality assurance of internal products (procurement, travel & expense), including Web, H5, App, backend, and other platforms.
- Conduct tests based on product requirements, including test design, execution, defect submission and tracking, and test reporting.
- Track the progress of products and projects, assist in iteration and release of product versions, ensuring smooth progress and high-quality project releases.
- Analyze, locate, and track issues found during testing, promoting timely and reasonable resolutions.
- Strong awareness of test automation and tooling, providing the most suitable technical solutions based on business needs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in computer-related fields.
- Proficient in reading English materials and fluent in English for oral communication.
- Over three years of testing experience and familiarity with the software R&D process.
- Experienced in test case design and systematic test analysis and design capabilities.
- Proficient in using packet capture tools such as Charles and Fiddler, and experienced with MySQL database.
- Strong coding foundation, knowledgeable in at least one language (Java/Go/Python).
- Excellent communication skills and team spirit, capable of closely collaborating with production and research teams, demonstrating eagerness to learn and resilience under pressure.
- Familiarity with internal products, with experience in testing ERP-related systems preferred.
