We are continually innovating and expanding our team, and we’re currently looking for excellent engineers to join our machine learning engineering team. This role is pivotal in productionizing state-of-the-art machine learning models for real-time behavioral prediction and anomaly/threat detection.

Job Responsibilities

  • Collaborate across the machine learning life-cycle to deploy cutting-edge behavioral prediction and anomaly/threat detection models.
  • Develop CI/CD testing pipelines to ensure continuous integration and delivery.
  • Partner closely with the Data Science research team to automate research tasks while applying software and testing best practices to machine learning source code.
  • Work alongside the Data Engineering and Dev-Ops teams on the deployment and monitoring of live production models.

Requirements

  • Strong software engineering skills, including unit and integration testing.
  • Experience in academia or industry focusing on projects that leverage Machine Learning.
  • Ability to optimize model code that utilizes Python’s mathematical libraries (e.g., NumPy, pandas) for both batch and online operations.
  • Experience with Python environment managers (e.g., conda, venv).
  • Familiarity with developing applications for containerized environments (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker, Istio/Linkerd).
  • Proficiency in using relational databases.
  • A master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a similar quantitative field.
  • Interest in Bayesian machine learning, anomaly/novelty detection, one-shot learning, and supervised learning.
  • Interest in fraud prevention and cybersecurity.
  • Familiarity with NoSQL databases.
  • Experience working in agile teams and collaborating with QA engineers to triage production bugs.
  • Familiarity with Java/Scala, cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure), and big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop, Hive).
  • Experience with workflow managers such as Airflow, MLFlow, or Kubeflow and with the ELK stack.
