The role involves diverse responsibilities, including acting as a Linux and cloud solutions architect for customers by designing private and public cloud solutions tailored to their workload needs, working as cloud consultants who deploy, test, and hand over solutions to our support or managed services team at the end of a project, and functioning as software engineers who use Python to develop Kubernetes operators and Linux open-source infrastructure-as-code. Ideal candidates are developers who enjoy solving customer problems through architecture, presentations, and training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work across the entire Linux stack, from kernel, networking, storage, to applications.
- Utilize Python to design and deliver open-source code.
- Architect cloud infrastructure solutions such as OpenStack, Kubernetes, Ceph, Hadoop, and Spark either On-Premises or in Public Cloud (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Coach and develop colleagues with insights.
- Foster a healthy, collaborative engineering culture aligned with company values.
Requirements:
- University degree in Computer Science or related software engineering expertise.
- Sound knowledge of cloud computing concepts & technologies such as Kubernetes, OpenStack, AWS, GCP, Azure, and Ceph.
- Practical knowledge of Linux and networking.
- Intermediate to advanced level Python programming skills.
- Dynamic personality with a passion for new projects and interactions.
- Demonstrated drive for continual learning.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills (English).
- Great organizational skills and reliable follow-up on commitments.
- (Optional) Proficiency in a second language such as French, German, Italian, Arabic, or Spanish.
