In this role, you will manage diverse responsibilities, acting as a Linux and cloud solutions architect for customers. You will be designing private and public cloud solutions tailored to their workload needs. As a cloud consultant, your role will involve deploying, testing, and handing over solutions to the support or managed services team at the end of each project. Additionally, you will serve as a software engineer, using Python to develop Kubernetes operators and Linux infrastructure-as-code.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work across the entire Linux stack, including kernel, networking, storage, and applications.
- Utilize Python to design and deliver open source code.
- Architect cloud infrastructure solutions like OpenStack, Kubernetes, Ceph, Hadoop, and Spark, whether on-premises or in public cloud (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Coach and develop colleagues where you have insights.
- Foster a healthy, collaborative engineering culture in line with company values.
- Travel globally up to 25% of the time for internal and external events.
Requirements:
- University degree in Computer Science or related software engineering expertise.
- Sound knowledge of cloud computing concepts and technologies, such as Kubernetes, OpenStack, AWS, GCP, Azure, Ceph, etc.
- Practical knowledge of Linux and networking.
- Intermediate to advanced level of Python programming skills.
- A dynamic individual who enjoys tackling new projects and interacting with people.
- Strong drive for continual learning.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills (English).
- Great organizational skills and reliable follow-up on commitments.
