This is an opportunity to run a Professional Services team (also known as Field Engineering), helping customers understand and implement Canonical's open source solutions in public clouds and their own data centers. The role involves working across a wide spectrum of cloud offerings, including Ubuntu, virtualization, private cloud, and Kubernetes.
As a Cloud Professional Services Manager, you will be responsible for managing team performance and providing career guidance, while actively participating in technical presales discussions to support sales goals. You will lead a team of engineers, coach and mentor them, and ensure quality and timely delivery of projects.
Location: Dubai, Dubai, United Arab Emirates (Remote)

Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a team of engineers, from graduate to senior levels
- Implement disciplined engineering processes and represent your team to stakeholders
- Collaborate with other leaders and contribute to the leadership team
What We Are Looking For:
- Knowledge of cloud computing concepts and technologies (Kubernetes, OpenStack, AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Practical knowledge of Linux and networking
- Experience in technical presales
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Strong leadership and mentoring experience
Language Requirements:
- Proficient in English; additional languages such as Spanish or French are preferred
