This is an opportunity to lead a Professional Services (Field Engineering) team, helping customers comprehend and implement Canonical's open source solutions in public clouds and private data centers. The role encompasses a wide range of cloud offerings, including Ubuntu, virtualization, private cloud solutions, Kubernetes, and advanced open source implementations such as MLops and data platforms. As we expand our services into sectors like telecommunications, finance, healthcare, and media, we are designing new open source solutions tailored to meet diverse customer needs.
Engineering Managers at Canonical are expected to be exceptional engineers themselves, skilled in troubleshooting technical issues and engaging in technical presales discussions with customers. They should contribute to project delivery while primarily guiding the team's direction, focus, and overall delivery.
