Cloud Solutions Architect - Alliances

About the Job:

We partner with major industry players, including Intel, Nvidia, Google, and Dell, to integrate our solutions into their offerings.

The Cloud Solutions Architect will join our Alliances team to support our partners in adopting Canonical's open source technologies. This role involves engaging with global companies to enhance their public and private cloud infrastructure and promote our products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect cloud infrastructure solutions utilizing technologies such as Kubernetes, OpenStack, and Ceph.
• Integrate open source software like PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Kafka.
• Assist partners in developing joint solutions with Canonical technologies.
• Design Reference Architectures and conduct technical validations.
• Facilitate onboarding sessions and workshops to promote Canonical’s solutions.

What We Are Looking For:

• Extensive experience with Linux (preferably Ubuntu) and Kubernetes.
• Skills in designing and implementing solutions for public or private clouds.
• Proficiency in Python and bash, along with troubleshooting capabilities.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• High motivation with strong communication and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel globally up to 30% of the time.
• A degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field is preferred.
