We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to take ownership of planning, deploying, optimizing, and maintaining hardware-software solutions in a high-availability environment. This role is key to ensuring seamless system operation, rapid deployment, and continuous improvement of complex infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain deployment plans for integrated hardware-software solutions.
- Deploy infrastructure and software components across development, testing, and production environments.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and monitoring processes.
- Optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines, deployment scripts, and operational workflows.
- Support system lifecycle through monitoring, incident resolution, and post-deployment analysis.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth and secure operations.
- Document infrastructure, configurations, and operational procedures.
- Comply with QHSE policies, procedures, plans, and related risk assessments.
Requirements
- Solid understanding of hardware-software integration and system deployment strategies.
- Hands-on experience with Linux-based systems, virtualization, containers, and orchestration tools.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
- Experience in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI, Jenkins).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Relevant certifications in DevOps, cloud platforms, or system administration are a plus.
Experience
- 2+ years of experience in DevOps, system administration, or infrastructure engineering.
- Proven track record of deploying and maintaining production-grade systems.
- Experience working with hybrid infrastructure (cloud + on-prem) is desirable.
Skills
- Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python).
- Ability to troubleshoot complex systems and resolve deployment issues efficiently.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and driven to automate and optimize everything.
